The Wyoming Fire Department is excited to invite our community to take part in a video contest that’s all about safety and creativity. We’re asking you to create a short video—no longer than 60 seconds—that teaches others what to do in an emergency or how to prevent one. Your video should share accurate information, but how you present it is completely up to you. Feel free to use skits, animation, demonstrations, or anything else that shows off your creativity.

Not sure where to start? You might highlight the importance of sleeping with your bedroom door closed, show families how to choose and practice a meeting place outside the home, demonstrate how to properly use a fire extinguisher, or give tips about generator safety. These are just a few ideas—your video can cover any safety topic that helps keep our community prepared.

All ages are encouraged to participate (this isn’t just for kids!). Selected videos may be featured at our annual Turkey Raffle event as well as on the department’s social media pages. This is your chance to use your imagination, help educate others, and see your work celebrated across the community.
