The Wyoming Firefighters Association is a 501c4 non-profit dedicated to serving the needs of the volunteer department and its members. The WFA supports the firefighters in three main areas:

Public Outreach: Providing fire safety education materials to every Wyoming student, teaching Take10 CPR, holding a safety camp for children, sponsoring the Easter Egg Hunt, providing a Halloween outreach to children, and representing the firefighters in parades and events such as May Fete.

Equipment Grants: The WFA provides grants to the fire department to purchase and improve equipment for firefighting. The WFA has provided thermal imaging cameras, power saws, and vital life saving gear over and above which is funded by taxpayers.

Volunteer Support: Being a volunteer firefighters is hard work. It requires many hours of training, late night emergencies, and time away from family. The WFA supports our volunteers in times of need and supports morale by providing meals at long training events, hosting a holiday awards banquet, and assisting with funerals.
